“From the evidence I’ve seen, I don’t think anyone genuinely happy and fulfilled in their lives — anyone living in a way that is truly good for them — would become depressed.—If this view works for you that’s great, but I’m not sure how helpful it is to extrapolate your own experience to represent the illness in general.
